A Wonderful Day

School has started, and the rain is pouring down this week.
Very fitting to this card I made during the sunny weekend...

The Papers I have used are from Maja Design.
I also got some new large heart shaped doilies, love it!

Magnolias Tilda is painted with Distress Ink, I layered
the colors with Wethered Wood to get a more grey look
of the shades of blue that I used.
I also added Glimmer Mist and Stickles on both
image and flowers.

I added a Doohickey Tag decorated with string and a vintage trinket thing,
I believe it is from Prima.

The tag has a sentiment from LOTV, I treated myself to some
gorgeous new stamps.

The flowers are from Prima and WOC, and the berries
are from Ribbon Girl. The petals are from Kort og Godt.
I added acrylic paint on the flowers.

I also used a broad lace from Bikuben, string tied around is,
and two of these gorgeous little charms I got from a friend.
See the little angel?

Thanks for visiting,
I hope you are all having a lovely end of August!

Flutter by

This is the last of the tree cards I made during the scrap night with my SIL.

The paper is from Inkido, and the image is from Papirloftet.
I also used my Spellbinders label one (witch I got a smaller set for today so finally
I can use them more and get a smaller frame, jeey!). And I used my Martha Stewart
butterfly punch, and Star Dust Stickles and pearls.

School is starting soon, and I hope during fall I will get a lot of inspiration.
At least I got a lot of moneys worth of inspiration today,
at my yearly visit to a big and beautiful scrap store. :)

Pearly Heart

One more of the cards I made during my scrap evening with my SIL.
I love making these hearts, and try to make them a bit different every time.

I have used papers from Magnolia,
and behind the image there is tuille.
I have used a heart doily, and filled with roses and flower ribbon.
The doily, pearl string, and all the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
The lace I got from Ribbon Girl.

Sketchy

I got my scrap room all set up yesterday, and then I invited my
sister-in-law over to break it in. I made three cards, one of them was this,
done after the sketch at Sketchy Colors.

The papers are from Pion. I used a sentiment from Papirloftet,
flowers from WOC, and a swirl die.
 Blogland seems a bit quiet,
maybe everyone is traveling?
Hope you all enjoy the last weeks of summer.

4 a Pearly Princess *CLP*

Okey, so what I am about to tell you makes me a terrible mother,
scrapwise. My daughter Sofie turned 4 in February,
and I finished her birthday card last night...
(Last night was Friday!)
Around the time her birthday was I was super busy and
was stressing with the party and everything,
and there was always someone else I needed to make a card for,
and then my Mojo left completely.
I wanted to make her something super special,
I dont know if I managed that,
but last night may have been  the last night in a while
when I could make a card,
because we are moving this weekend.
And also I needed to make my CLP card!
Take a look at the sketch down below,
and come join us!

So all the papers I have used are from Maja Design.
I used cheese cloth, and a doily.

This is the sketch for August at CLP, is is not wonderful?

My new and favourite Tilda!
Sofie choose her herself amongst the images I had put out.
She likes her crown ;)
I painted her with Distress Reinkers,
I layered Dusty Concord, Wethered Wood and
finally Victorian Velvet on her dress.
She is covered in Chalkboard Glimmer mist,
and lots of Stickles.

I used flowers and a heart charm from Prima.
The ribbon and flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts,
and all the pearls are from Ribbon Girl!
I also have a few branches from a big snowflake
that I have used before, I can show it to you when it is closer
to X-mas. ;)

The swirly Branches I hace used are from Kort og Godt,
and you may be able to tell that I also have added
little Liquid Pearls?

The letters are from Prima, I covered them with Gesso and
lots of Star Dust Stickles, witch I also used on the image.
I used Snow Wrighter on the flowers and a few corners,
as you can se here. I also used a swirl die.
