Blowing Bubbles (+ candy winner and new candy)

At last, summer holiday!
All things school related are done,
now I just have to wait for my grades. Aaarg. :S

I colored this image earlier, and yesterday I did the rest of the card.
It is for my sisters birthday in two days,
this is the same sister that just had her Confirmation.
She will have a bunch of Tilda-cards before she gets old. ;)
Inside this card I will tell her that for her birthday,
I am taking her to the movies to see  Breaking Dawn Part 2,
when the time comes, and the popcorn is on me.
We`ll make a girls-weekend of it. :)

I use a ton (like six?) doilys for this card.
Wanted a lot of lace, a bit vintage look, but it turned out shabby.
The papers are the new Maja Design Vintage Summer Basics.
I dont know why I even bother with the papers,
I`m so stupid and cover them up every time.
Just cant help myself, when I get going with the embellishments
there is never enough.
The letters are from Prima.

I used some gorgeous corners that I got from my girlfriend Bonnie.
I have some crystal stamens from WOC, they are barely visible.
The  baby pink roses are new, I was almous out so I had to fill up a bit.
Love the color! All the roses are from WOC, as well as the little pearl
stars I have sprinkled all over.

I used a couple of pieces of lace, some flower-ribbon that I cut
out to use invividually, and three big flowers from Prima.
I just adore the Corinne Collection, I am SO getting more of those.
Cant belive they dont make new ones like that,
they are the most gorgeous ever, they always fit!

I used some Magic Mesh, swirls from Prima,
and pink pins from WOc.

Tilda was colored with Distress Re Inkers.
I used a ton of Star Dust Stickles on this card,
I had a bottle that was nearly empty, so I cut it open
and used a paint brush to spend all the last of it on Tildas wings,
the bubbles, and the corners, letters, stars and flowers, after first
dabbing it all with white acrylic paint.

With this card I join these challenges:
TOMIC - Anything Goes (Happy birthday!)

And now, a bit late,
the winner of my candy!

The random generator says...

9!
That is you, Annelie!
Please send your adress to my mail
felixiren@hotmail.no,
and I will get the candy to you.

But for the other candy hungry girls,
I have a new candy. :)
I just love this blog so much,
and getting comments and visitors brightens my day,
so I want to share a bit more.

This time, the candy I am offering is a spanking new
Magnolia Image of your choice!
That means that whoever wins the candy,
can go to Tildas Town and select any
stamp that they want, and I will order it for them.

My candy is open to everyone who is a follower.
All you have to do is post a link in your blog,
and leave your name with InLinkz.

The candy will close the last day in July,
and I will announce the winner shortly thereafter.
It there is a lot of entrances, maybe I will draw two winners...

Good luck everybody,
and thanks for making blogging such amazing fun! :)

Prima Confirmation

I think this is the last of my Confirmations cards.
Once again I must apologize for the horrible images,
I used my cell phone, seems that is the best options without
Photoshop. Damn, I miss my laptop!

This card was a special order, I had to make it in
just a couple of hours, before we were going away, and
the card was being picked up the next morning.

The papers I used are from Maja Design and Inkido.
I love that lace, I had some before and got a bit more
in a present. I think its Prima?

This beautiful image I think is from Saturated Canary?
Please tell me if that is right. ;)
I got a print of her in my Christmas calendar.
She is gorgeous, but so teeny tiny I had a lot of trouble coloring her.
I usually avoid stamps with a lot of small details.
I used my Distress re-inkers, Liquid Pearls,
and some Star Dust Stickles, you can see
it has not dried yet on the image.

I used a lof of flowers, most from Prima, and a few from
Wild Orchid Crafts. The grey rose in the middle is
from Kaiser Craft, I think?

I used my Magnolia Doohickey star tag, to post the
date of the confirmation.
The ribbon is seem binding ribbon from WOC.
I used Tiny Alfa from My Little Shoebox.
The charm was a gift.

More flowers. The pink tulips are from Papirloftet.
I used a little dress charm from Kutt UT also.

Kort O Mania - Digistempel (temmelig sikker på at det er digistempel)

Sweet Pea Summer

My fiancee, who sells my card at his store,
told me someone asked for gards with more grown up
images. Apparently, Tilda looks like a child. :p
These people just dont understand,
the Magnolias are age-less,
and can be given no matter what age,
at least that`s what I think.

But whatever, I have some other images,
and it has been a while since I used them.
I am starting to get a bit of a collection of stamps,
and even more images that I get from friends etc.

This time I went for my Sweet Pea.

I used papers from Maja Design.
The puncher is Martha Stewart.

I colored her up with my Distress Reinkers.
Turquoise is a color I am not that comfortable using,
but I am working on it.
It can get a bit boring using only Victorian Velvet,
Wethered Wood or Dusty Concord.
I used some Star Dust Stickles on the image and flowers.

The flowers are a mixture of Prima and
Wild Orchid Crafts. The flower ribbon is also WOC.
The swirl die is from Wimsy stamps.

I used a heart doily, some dragonflies from Kort og Godt,
and can  you see the little heart brad?

These charms was a gift from a sweet friend. :)
The twine and lace is from WOC,
and I used my Magnolia Tag Die.

This time I join the challenge at Scrappehuset,
the challenge (haha, nooot), is Flower Power.
I got inspired and tried to use some of the colors in the image.

Gift set *CLP Challenge*

Finally its June, and I have heard that we are going to get
a bit of hotter weather and nice weather after this weekend,
because the weather has been really sucky this week.
Yeah, it has been snowing, raining and blowing.
Brr.

Before I start pouring out detailed images,
I just want to brag a bit.
This is my beautiful sister on her confirmation day.
She is wearing my "bunad", a norwegian folk costume.
There are a lof of different ones, from the different places
in Norway. I love mine, I think its gorgeous!
But, it doesent quite fit me now, I`ve gotten a bit bigger
since I was 15, but I`m on my way towords the right size!
I lost 10 kg (about 20 pounds) since January. ;)

The card is my creation for this months challenge at CLP!

The sketch is gorgeous, so check it out!

It is an easel card, I thing the sketch was perfect for that,
and it looks great on a gift table.
The papers are all from Maja Design.
I almosed used all my papers from this new line,
and I am SO getting more!

Tilda was colored with Distress Reinkers,
all the images for this set was colored at the same time,
and they all look the same.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
and a few are from Storyteller.
I used some pins, and a piece of bling from Prima.

I used seem binding ribbon from WOC (all out of that too),
and the flat flower is from Prima.
The brad in the bow is from Making Memories I think,
and the other brads are from Papirloftet.
I used a big heart charm, it says I love you.

I just love these heartshaped bling-thingies!
The lace is from WOC.
I used butterfly dies from my Martha Stewart punch,
covered it with Star Dust Stickles, and added a bling.
Behind the pink pearl brads I used a bit of ribbon from Kutt Ut.

This is how the card looks laying down.
I used the same doily as on the bow, and on the candy bag.

Here is the gift with the candy bag. Yes, all the candy is pink,
and I added a few white pieces to fill it out and match the cards etc.
Jup, I bought different types of candy and sorted out all the pink ones...

The flowers are Prima, Petaloo and Wild Orchid Crafts.
I used a doily, MS butterfly, my last bling (seriously, after making this set
I really new to fill up on a lot of stuff!), lace and the last of the bling hearts.

Here is the entire gift set that I made for my little sisters confirmation
last sunday. In the box that I showed you guys last time,
there is a gift with real pearl earrings.
The gift in the middle is a box with all the Twilight movies on DVD,
she`ll also get the last one when it comes out.
On top of the box there is a bag with candy (for movie-watching),
and a matching tag with a bit of embellishments, of course.

Fairy tale Tilda box

Today was my sisters confirmation.
It was very lovely, and cosey.
I actually had to get up early to finish her gift, because I lost
a lot of scrap time this week because Sofie was sick for a few days,
so any time I had to myself went into studying for my exsam.

The images are all a bit crocked, I usually fix that with photoshop,
but I dont have it on this computer.
At least the colors are okey.
I took the images with my new iPhone (gift from my man),
my old phone was falling apart.

This box is a part of a gift set for my sister,
its three pieces in total.
You can see the other ones later. ;)
This box has sides that is 5x5 inches.
I made the template myself.
It was really not supposed to be this big,
but I only had one die that fit all the stamps I wantet to use,
so big it became. I wanted it to be really girlie and pink,
with lots and lots of flowers and details.
The images was all chosen carefully,
I was going for something like a fairy tale,
or playing dress up or something.

I used papers from Maja design, I really love them!
Need to buy some more soon...

The flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts,
except for the big one on the lid,and a smaller one on the lid,
its from Prima. I also used a few from Petaloo.

I used some lace from Ribbon Girl (I think?),
and some seem binding ribbon from WOC.

I used my Martha Stewart butterfly punch,
the rest of my bling,
Star Dust Stickles,
and some kind of crystals, they hardly show on the images though.

The images are all from Magnolia, of course.
They are all painted with Distress Reinkers,
I used a looot of Victorian Velvet. ;)

On every side there is a doily.
It almost broke my heart covering up that gorgeous paper,
the box really was stunning before I started to add the stuff,
but the plans was made and the images was done.
I think I have to buy the paper and make more boxes with it,
it was really perfect for that!

Can you see the crystals here? To the right, there are two.

On this set I used a little bling heart on each of the creations,
you can see it right on the bottom here.
I also love that pearl brad.
And here you can see one of the crystals quite clear,
I think.

Thats a whole lot of images!
It took a few hours to make that box,
and a few miscalculations,
I always do mistakes when I cut the papers and fold etc.
You know that feeling when you miscut your last paper and
totally ruined it, and its too small to fix?
Sometimes I have to work hard not to
beat myself in the head with my cutting board. ;)

Edward Easel Card

I spent the money I made so far selling my cards and ordered
some new papers. Needed some papers suited for boys and mens card,
and gosh, I really love these new papers from Maja design!
I also got a new die, more stickles, a set of new sentiment stamps,
and papers to make a gift set
for my sisters confirmation next weekend.

All the papers are from Maja Design.
Again, I really love them!
Every side of the card is covered, and inside there is a pocket for money.

Edward is from The Greeting Farm.
I colored him with my Distress Reinkers.
The sentiment says something like "on your confirmation day",
and it is from Kort og Godt.
I used some pearls here and there, now I am all out of pearls!

I got this new star tag die from Magnolia, I have been wanting
it for some time now. :) The flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts.
I used a strip of lace, and a lovely swirl die that I got for my birthday
from my sweet friend Elaine.
I also used a bit of twine (WOC), and a bling charm.
The letters are from My Little Shoebox,
I covered them with Crackle Accents to make them stick,
and embellished with a bit of Liquid Pearl.

More Confirmation

So first we moved, and was without internet.
Then I broke my laptop when my daughter fell of the couch
and hit her head really hard on the floor (she`s fine now, just got
a big lump on her head), and as I tried to grab her my laptop fell to the
floor, and the screen broke. I don`t think I am supposed to have
things that cost money, I am the biggest klutz ever.

Yesterday I finally set up my scrap desk.
My hubby works at the local food store and sells my cards
there, and people have been asking a lot for boys cards.
Seems there are only boys in this place.
Typical, since I love so much to make girls cards.

Also, I was challenged to make a really masculine card and use paint
at a scrap forum, so this is my card for that.
Dont know if its REALLY masculine,
but its tougher than what I usually make. ;)

The papers are from Pion and Maja Design.
I used masking tape and acrylic paint on the background.
The frame and film strip is from Tim Holtz,
and I used a piece of grey lace, a chain, and some string.
The image is from Pretty Vintage.

With this card I join this challenge:
Cardandscrap - Vintage

I also threw together this card.
The image is chipboard.
The papers are Maja Design, BoBunny, and a piece of Prima packaging.
The lace is from Wild Orchid Craft.
I used dies from Magnolia (tag), and a die and film strip from Tim Holtz.
The clock charm is from Kutt Ut, tied with string.

Purple Confirmation Tilda *CLP Challenge*

At the end of April we moved to a new (old!) house,
about a kilometer away from where we used to live.
When I am writing this I am in the middle of boxes,
its just a huge horrible mess. I really hate moving...

We are also going to be without internet for a few days,
oh the HORROR! I`ll be back commenting and posting as soon
as possible though. I just need a new scrap desk,
I have been using an old kitchen table, and we will need to use it
to eat off when we move.

Anyways...
Here is my card for the May sketch at CLP challenge!
Its a beautiful sketch I think.
It is another confirmation card.

I used papers from Maja Design, Pion and Inkido.
I also used lace, some swirl dies, and a doily.

On the inside I made a pocket for money,
and I could not help myself, I had to embellish a little,
even if that makes the card a bit uneven.

The flowers are from Prima, Wild Orchid Crafts,
and Petaloo.

I used my Martha Stewart puncher to make these butterflies.
The charms was a gift from a dear sweet friend.

The letters are from My Little Shoebox.
Tilda was colored with Distress Reinkers.
