Pink and purple *CLP DT*

I am writing this on sunday, and tomorrow I have to get up at
4 a.m. to catch the plane my sister in law calls "the way to early plane".
I am going to Bodø to start the school year with the first gathering of the
semester. For you who don't know, I am studying to be a teacher,
and I am doing it with internet and gatherings at the university.
This is my third year, and this is bachelor year! I am sooo dreading it!

This card is for a girl in Sofie's kindergarten, she is having
a birthday party tomorrow (or last Monday, if you will).
I asked her what her favorite colors where.
Pink and purple, she told me without hesitating.
My kind of card-receiver!

This card is my interpretation of this weeks gorgeous sketch
over at CLP Challenges. Come join us! :)

I colored Tilda with my Distress Reinkers.
The skin is Tattered Rose, Vintage Photo and Aged Mahogany.
Her hair is Antique Linen and Vintage Photo.
The dress is Victorian Velvet, and the shoes are Walnut Stain.
The Teddy is Vintage Photo, Walnut Stain, Black Soot and Pumice Stone.
I shadowed around the image with Weathered Wood.
I used some Star Dust Stickles,
and dotted Liquid Pearl around the frame.

I used some swirly die cuts that I got from a friend,
a doily, pink pearls, and flowers and twine from Wild Orchid Crafts.
The number 5 is from American Crafts.
The swirls and some flowers have Star Dust on them.

The curly branch is from Kort og Godt,
I have a Prime flower, a tulip from Papirloftet,
and pins and flowers from WOC.

The papers are from Maja and Magnolia.
The letters are from My Little Shoebox.
I used some cheese cloth,
my Martha Stewart lacy heart puncher,
and a flower charm.
The letters are covered with Crackle Accents,
mostly to make sure they stick.

Tilda Pennant for Sofie's room

This project I think I started to plan about a year ago,
and I have had the bazzil base for the pennants lying around since then.
This week I finally made the letters, cut out the patterned paper and
chose and inked up some images.

I wanted to do it a little more shabby,
but I just love the papers and I settled for a cleaner look.
No embellishments! *gasp!*

But I think it looks quite cute in Sofie's room. :)
The cards on the shelf are the birthday cards I made for her second and third birthday.

The papers are from Maja, and I love them so much!
I used my Martha Stewart lace punch, forgetting that it was actually broken.
One of the little holes is missing, the little pin broke of the last time I used it.

I used two images from Magnolia,
both are colored with Distress Inks.
I used Antique Linen and Vintage Photo for the hair,
Tattered Rose and Vintage Photo for the skin and Aged Mahogany for the blush,
Victorian Velvet and Black Soot for the clothes,
and Pumice Stone for the wings and socks.
I used some Star Dust Stickles on them too.

The letters I drew up and cut out of Bazzil.
Then I painted them a few times with Gesso,
then covered them with a thick layer of Crackle Accents,
and then Star Dust Stickles.

The pennants are glued on a strip of seem binding ribbon,
and I stapled each pennant for extra support.

Wish right now

Oh, I sooo enjoyed being back at my scrap desc!
This image I colored before I left for vacation,
and I had the papers ready,
so today I just sat down and started cutting and embellishing.

The papers are from Maja Design and Magnolia.
I have finally gotten some more cheese cloth too!
It was a bit tighter than I like it,  but it' will do.

The image is of course from Magnolia,
and I have colored Edwin with my Distress Inks.
I have been asked if I could tell what color I use,
so lets see if I remember:

Skin - Tattered Rose and Vintage Photo
Hair - Antique Linen and Vintage Photo
Pants - Wethered Wood and Black Soot
Shirt - Chipped Shappire
Socks - Black Soot
Plane - Faded Jeans and Black Soot

I finally got me some of those swirly-thingies, I love them!
These are from Kort og Godt.
The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

The clip and photo strip are from Tim Holtz.
I also used some pearls from WOC.

Candy winner!

Hello again!
I am now back from my holiday,
my daughter and I have been with my mother and her husband
at his families cabin, and finally I found the summer!
I got a little bit of a tan (Anne-style, normally I`m not white, but clear),
and now I feel so glad to be home! I have missed my fiancee and my stuff
and my bed and my scrapping, and my sweet blog!

I don't have anything to show you just yet,
but I have some new scrappy stuff I soon will dig into.

For now, I`ll warm up by drawing the winner of my
Tildas Town Candy!
I know, it was stupid of me to set the ending date right before
I left for my holiday, it should have been open until now.
According to random.org, the lucky winner of my candy iiiis....

Number 17, and that is Dorte!

Send me an e-mail at felixiren@hotmail.no,
and remember to go into Tildas Town and find your
favorite stamp!

Thank you all for visiting me while I was away,
now I am going to get started on a round of blog visits.

Lots of hugs!

Special Gift *CLP*

This card is for my sweet friend Elaine,
who I was supposed to surprise with me remembering her birthday
that I blackmailed her into telling me about this winter, and instead I was
more than a month late, because I had written down the wrong month!
*facepalm*

Better late than never, I say.

This is my card as DT-member to CLP,
I just loved that sketch.

Tilda is painted with Distress Inks,
and I used some Star Dust Stickles and Liquid Pearls.

I used flowers, lace, stars, pearls and crystal stamens from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Some Prima flowers, one from Papirloftet,
and seem binding ribbon from WOC, and little pearl angel charms.
The brad is from Panduro.
The white fabric flower was a bit big, so I trimmed of one round
to make it smaller.

The sentiment is from Magnolia, and I used twine from WOC.
I think the doily is from Kutt Ut.

I am your angel

Oh my God, can anyone tell me where summer has gone?
It feels like winter, or maybe fall at least.
Its so windy the whole house is shaking,
and the rain is poring down so hard!
I`m sick of sitting inside,
so this is just a quick post before me and Sofie dare ourselves to
go outside and play a bit.

This is my third Christmas card for the month of July.
Its also the last of my vintage Christmas images,
I need to get some more of those to.
Just three more days until I get to crap shop a bit!

The paper if from Pion and a leftover strip of paper from Magnolia.
I used my Martha Stewart punchers for the edge and snowflakes.
I also used seem binding ribbon and pearls from WOC,
a doily, some branches and a feather, a table decoration-flower thingie,
and Diamond Stickles.

This is my third card to Hjertebodens Juleblogg.

its going to be so much fun!

To make this card I used paper from Poppydesign,
Flowers, doily and lace fom Wild Orchid Crafts,
my Martha Stewart Snowflake Punch,
Icicle Stickles, and seem binding ribbons.
I also used some pearls, and a little cheese cloth.
The card is a shaker card with MS glitter inside.

Wedding Tag

I have been at my scrap desc quite a lot this week,
and here is one of the results. It is a wedding tag,
the ribbons can be used to hang the tag over something.

I used the gorgeous papers from Maja Design.
The two tags are from Magnolia.
The flower and seem binding ribbon is from
Wild Orchid Crafts.
And jeeey, I found a little piece of cheese cloth!
I have missed it so much!

The image is from Magnolia, and as far as I know;
so is the sentiment.
I have colored the image with Distress Reinkers.

The pink ribbon is from Ribbon Girl. I used some dies,
Star Dust Stickles, pearl string
and a brad from Panduro.

I enter my card into these challenges:
