Puppy Love

If I write just nonsense today you have to forgive me.
My fiancee and I have travelled to Oslo and back to Lofoten
again in 30 hours. In that time we spent about 5 hours in the car,
3 hours on a plane, and 2 magical hours was spent at the Muse concert!
It was my birthday gift from Tony, and it was the best gift ever!
My birthday was in January, and I spent most of December hinting
totally discrete of course ;) The concert was amazing,
and I still feel high from it, or maybe it is the fact that I have slept
about 8 hours combined the last two nights?
My pillow is calling me right now, I can hear it. ;)

First I just want to show you a card I finished today.
I had the image all inked up already.

I have used papers from Maja Design,
my favorite ones!

This is the Tilda that came with the Magnolia Ink,
and this is the first time I ink her up.
I thought she would be hard to color,
but actually she was not that bad.
I used Distress Reinkers,
Star Dust Stickles on some of the details,
and Liquid Pearl around her and around the swirls.

I have used flowers and seem binding ribbon from
Wild Orchid Crafts, the pearl is from Ribbon Girl,
and I also have some buttons and smaller pearls.
I dabbed in a lot of acrylic paint to tone down the pink colors
and get a shabby look.

I have used a Doohickey Star Die, and also
a Doohickey Swirl Die. The twine is from WOC,
and I got the bird charm from Kutt Ut.

The card is for my sister, so I put her name in it in glittering letters.
I hardly ever use letters in their original form,
I just love the look when they are white and thick with Star Dust.
The lace is from Ribbon Girl.

Almost all the flowers where "personalized" today.
They where just a bit big, so I removed the bottom layer
and cut them a bit flatter to make smaller roses etc,
and like I sayd, I added paint and also a bit of glitter here and there.

The entire card was pretty much soaked in Chalkboard Glimmer Mist,
so I had to add a picture taken in the evening sun just to show of a little
hint of how it all sparkle. ;)

Baby Prince

I was actually sitting down at my desk today to make
a few CAS-cards, but I had started to ink an image before,
and I picket it up to try to do a bit more work on it.
Well, I colored two complete images and two halv-done ones.
Then I strolled arount the challenge blogs for inspiration,
and made this blue baby card.
My first time really scrapping in almost a month and a half!

The papers I used are from Maja Design. I really love striped papers!
I also used a die cut frame, a doily, cloth, my Martha Stewart
Lace Puncher, and a Magnolia Doohickey tag (you can maybe spot
a glimse of it under the flowers?) and a cloud, plus my spellbinders of course.

The Magnolia baby image is wolored with Distress Ink.
I used Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose and Victorian Velvet
for skin. The clothes are all Wethered Wood. I used Pumice
Stone for wings and pillow. The shading is Wethered Wood
and Black Soot.

The letters are from American Craft, and I used lots of pearls!

I have a bow of seem binding ribbon with a Crown from
Panduro on top. The swirls are from Prima,
and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. I also used
white mesh from Ribbon Girl.

The image is covered with a thick coat of Chalkboard Glimmer Mist,
but it didnt show in any of the pictures today. I also used a lace
from WOC, and a white tuille ribbon from Ribbon Girl.

Fantastic Four?

Four more of the "simple" cards I am making for selling at the store.
Simple may be the wrong term though,
most of the times I struggle more with these than I to with my
shabby and over-detailed-lots-of-layers-magnolia-cards.
So clean/simple is totally not the same as easy!
As I am wrighting this I am lying flat on my couch,
just worn out from painting ceilings and walls etc. in our new house,
and preparing "the big move".
Lots of hard work ahead...

The paper is from Maja Design and the sentiment is Magnolia.
I have used a doily and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.

I believe the paper is from Bo Bunny, I just love it but it never
went with anything I wantet to make.
I added a sentiment from Papirloftet, and a strip of lace
and a couple of pearls.

This little monster I got in a secret friend-swap once.
The front of the card is layered and pieced together with
left over paper pieces.

For this I used Maja Papers, tags, string and an envelope.
The tickets are from Tim Holtz,
and a bit of pacaging from Prima. The image is from Sagen,
I think?

1 Bazzil - 3 cards

So Sunday turned out to be a massive card-day,
I actually made seven cards in total.
These three where made from one Bazzil Cardstock
that I split into three 4x6 cards.
Cards like this is what I sell most of,
and the store has been clean out of cards for ever now,
so I am making up a batch to last for some time,
I hope. :)

This one was made without any Designer Paper.
All four sides is covered with paper from an old book.
I used a doily, some pearls, roses from WOC,
and a plastic branch. The image is from Pretty Vintage, I think.

These papers are from My Minds Eye, I love their style!
I used a sentiment and one single rose.

On this last card I used papers from Maja Design,
a vintage image from Sagen I think, and seem binding ribbon
and a key.

Hope you are having a better July than we are,
I have hardly seen the sun since June.

Wedding

I seem to have lost the will to ink!
I am sorry that I leave the blog to dry like this,
but I am very thankful to my followers and every
visitor who leave sweet comments.
I have no plans to quit scrapping or blogging,
but the frequency may stay like it is now.
Today I have made four of simple cards,
to try to use some cardstock that are just laying aroung,
and to have something to sell.
One of the cards was this wedding card.

I have used a doily, cloth, jute mesh,
and a ton of flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.
