Water Lily Tilda

This card was made in a real hurry, I used about 20 minutes,
not counting the coloring as that was done earlier.
It was for a girl in Sofie's kindergarten who celebrated her birthday
on Sunday. Her actual birthday was yesterday, the same day that my
newest niece was born! So a Baby Girl card is in the making. :)

The paper I used is from Websters Pages.
I layered with a doily,
and ribbon from Ribbon Girl.

This is the first time I colored this Tilda,
and while she is super cute,
she will not be a favourite of mine. I dont like coloring her hair,
and over all I found her difficult to paint.
I used my Distress Reinkers,
and tried for soft colors as if it was a summer night.

I embellished with Orchids from Wild Orchids Craft,
and a Hello Kitty Charm.

The letters are from Making Memories.

Birthday Magic *Marvelous Magnolia DT*

First I just want to say thank you to everyone who visit
and comments on my blog, and thank you so much for wishing
me luck on my exams.

So today I want to show you a birthday card
for someone in the family. This card is my DT card for our
Challenge at Marvelous Magnolia. This week it is Anything Goes!
This is the midway reminder, so you have just one more week to enter. :)

I used papers from Maja Design,
a doily and a very broad lace from Ribbon Girl.

I tried something of the "no lines tecnique", witch I like and have tried
a few times, but I keep forgetting I have nothing to draw her face back on with.
I tried with a pen, and figured it was good enough to use. :)
I colored her with distress reinkers, and misted with Chalkboard
Glimmer mist. I added Star Dust Stickles, and some Liquid Pearl.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and Ribbon Girl. I also used
Starburst stamens from RG, and Doohickey die cuts from Magnolia.

There is a feather under both floral corners, and I used some pearl
swirl leftovers.

I added a removable Doohickey tag, with Kort og Godt sentiments
on both sides (and on the front of the card). I embellished it with
seem binding ribbon from WOC, and two charms.
I used star stamps as details on the tag and around the image.

Create *Marvelous Magnolia DT*

Right now I am at my last week at scool,
I study online and travel to my school three weeks
per semester, and this is my last week of my very last semester.
I just cant believe I am almost done, has it been four years already?
I have applied for jobs and everything,
and I feel both excited to work, scared to death about my last
two exams, scared and nervous about the responsibility about
being a techer and about having to go to an interview...
And so happy to be almost done at the university!
Yes, so many feelings!

Today I want to show you a birthday card for a special someone
who's birthday is comming up. :)
And again, no flowers! Unless you count the button.
This card is my card for our midway reminder at
This time, we want to se ribbons or bows.

I used papers from Prima and Maja design,
and a doily behind the image.

Tilda was colored with Distress Reinkers,
before I sprayed Chalkboard Glimmer Mist over her.

The Doohickey tag is removable,
and has Lily of the valley-sentiments on both sides.
The angel charm was a gift, I think they are so pretty. :)
I used white string and a white button, both from Ribbon Girl.

The lightboulb is from Prima, and I added some pearls.
I think the whole card was very inspired by Elaine, in fact!
She makes the most beautiful cards. :)

Love Birds

Oh my gosh, look at that?
Not a flower in sight!
Somehow, they where just not right on this one,
but it felt strange putting the flower box back without using any...

I am feeling a bit lazy, I dont remember the name of the paper,
but I will have to go downstairs to check, and my blanket if feeling
so soft and warm...

I got this wooden heart at a craft shop before Christmas.
I had already painted it, but today I glued little pearls all over it.
Seems I have become bit of an ebay addict. Got both of the doilies
there, and all those pearls.
I used structure paste for the first time today,
combined with a stencil from Memory Box.

This doohickey I have wanted since it first came out I think,
and now I finally have it!
The sentiment is from Lily of the Valley.

The birds are from Prima, I dabbet them with white
and distressed a little with Walnut Stain.
I used a "Love" charm tied with white string from Ribbon Girl,
where I also got the ribbon I used.
Also used some pompoms and cardboard.
