Pink for a Baby Girl

This weekend one of my (many) brothers had a baby,
my very first niece. I cant wait to go wisit and get some
baby cuddely! This is the card I made for them.

All the papers are from Maja Design.
I also used three kinds of heart doilies,
and lots of feathers and cheese cloth.

Closed up, kind of... I used a few kinds of lace,
and a baby footprint ribbon.

I inked the little baby Magnolia with Distress Reinkers.
I have to say, this image is not one of my favourites to color,
there is so much detail and hard to tell where the shadow would go.
I guess I'll get to work on it, because I am getting
another niece in april. :)

None of my flowers felt right today, I was digging deep into
my flowers, and ended up "making" these from flat flowers,
I added water and a brad (they are the same color, strange picture...),
and I used some roses. All the flowers are from WOC.
I also used a bling heart stick pin from Ribbon Girl.

I punched some butterflies with my Martha Stewart Puncher.

The letters are from Prima. I added white acryllic paint to tone
down the colors. I also used a couple of big snowflakes,
they are perfect for layering.

And I also added a lot of Star Dust Stickles,
Chalk Glimmer Mist and Liquid Pearl.

Tilda Spreading Stars

Yesterday my fiancees brothers girlfriend celebratet her birthday.
She chose to have a 50s theme, it was so much fun,
and we all dresset up. I still feel a bit woosy from the party,
I must be out of training with the whole "going out"-thing. ;)

This is the card I made her.
I used papers from Maja, both from the new Vintage Frost series,
and one of my old purple favorites from the Skal vi fika,
plus a piece of Pion Design paper.

I colored Tilda using Distress Reinkers.
I have been working on my shading.

The stars are dies from Memory Box. I used a pearl string,
cheese cloth, and a heart doily. I added white accrylic paint all over the card,
and Liquid Pearl and Star Dust Stickles on the stars and image.

I used a Prima piece of pacaging,
and a trinket from Tim Holtz.

The flowers and pearl stamens are all from Wild Orchid Crafts.
I love the orchids!

The letters are also dies from Memory Box,
I got them for my birthday. :)
I used ribbon from Ribbon Girl, and thre kinds of guipire lace.

First Birthday

Happy New Year, to all of my followers!
Today is actually my birthday,
and guess how I chose to spend the afternoon.
It has been a while, but now I feel the inspiration flow,
and I have colored several images for cards to come.
I will just have to set aside some time, because now comes
my busyest time of the year: Practice.
You may remember I am studying to be a teacher, and this is
my final semester. Practice is a few weeks each year
that we spend with a class to actually get to try the things
we read and write about. It is so much fun, but a lot of work.

Time flies so fast, and it feels like my little nephew was born
just months ago, but he is now turning 1 year!

I used papers from Maja Design (Thank you Elaine!),
and the striped piece of paper from Pion I think.

I used flowers and black lace from WOC,
Star Dies from Memory Box,
blue tulle and cheese cloth,
berries from Ribbon Girl,
and white corners. Notice also the little snowball-pearls
from Prima! Love them. :)

I used my Spellbinder frames,
and dabbet white acryllic paint all over.

Edwin was colored with Distress Reinkers.
I added Liquid Pearl around the image,
and covered the plane with Star Dust Stickles.
The alphabeth was from Prima,
can you see the little number "1" on the bottom right corner?
and I also added a zipper (from Ribbon Girl?).
The branches are just some "fake flowers" I once
found in a store selling used stuff.
