December is here! We are enjoying advent calendars,
a little scrapping, shopping for Christmas,
(and reading for finals...).
Today the weather is a little stormy, so even if it was
supposed to be light now, its just grey/blue-ish.
That is the reason for the poor quality of my images.
Edit:
Wednesday was clearer, so I took a couple new pictures!
And I have told people that I want a photo tent for Christmas. ;)

So, this time I almost feel like I took it a little to far?
I went a little crazy with papers, ribbons and flowers,
I just kept adding more and more layers, and still I originally
wanted a bit more, I just could not make it fit. :p
I love those Maja papers!
This time I distressed all the paper with my Tim Holtz
distress tool, the one that scrapes the egde.
I think it has been years since I did that the last time,
but it just felt right now. It has also been like a year and a half
since I made a easel card.
This is that the inside look like. I promise you,
this card does NOT fit in an envelope!
I used sheer ribbon from Wild Orchid Crafts,
and lace from Ribbon Girls.
See the two kinds of snowflakes?
Sweet Patricia was so nice to send me some
in the mail, thank you so much!
Patricia also got me that wonderful seem binding ribbon,
it two kinds of blue/turquise and white.
On the right it is tied to a Prima plastic pagacing,
on the left it is fastened to a tag.
Those pink flowers I made a few years ago I think,
from pink toulle gluet to a bazzil sircle.
I had almost given up using them,
they always seemed a bit to "neon" in color
to fit when I tried. Today they felt just right.
Funny how that happens?
The white flowers are from WOC,
and the petals from Kort og Godt.
I added the letters 13, this card is for my sisters birthday.
They are from American Crafts, but I painted them,
and added Star Dust Stickles.
The blue flowers are from Prima.
The star dies are from Memory box, just love them!
I added acrylic paint to all the ribbon and flowers to
tone it down a bit, and add a frosty winter look.
I also used some Prima Snowball-pearls here and there,
do you see it? The tag is a Magnolia Doohickey.
Tilda was colored with Distress Reinkers,
and I added Stickles and Liquid Pearls around the image.
Amongst all the other things I also used cheese cloth,
a bit heart doily, and a sircle doily under the snowflake on the bottom,
and my Tim Holtz snowflake edge die.
Challenges
Wish you all a wonderful December,
thanks for visiting!
