Fairy Fift Birthday! *Marvelous Magnolia DT*

On the 17th my sweet little girl turned 5,

and is was celebrated in a fashionable manner with a

princess party and lots and lots of pizza and cake,

baloons and pink sugary stuff.

This is the card I made for her,

with one of my abselute favourite Tildas!

It is also my inspirational card for the midway reminder
of our super simple challenge over at
Marvelous Magnolia: Anything goes! Come join us. :)

The papers are from Inkido, Maja and Poppy Design.

I used my cloud dies from Magnolia, I wanted to make

a little magical scene with butterfly clouds,

pearl wind, frosted flowers and glittering mushrooms. 

The heart buttons are from Ribbon Girl,

I added some acryllic paint to them (and pretty much

everything else on my card...). The letters are from Prima. 

I also used pearl string, a heart doily, a sentiment from Magnolia,

a pin, and cheese cloth. 

Tilda was inked with Distress Reinkers and a waterbrush,

I used Liquid Pearl around, and lots of Star Dust Stickles. 

The lace, starburst stamens and white flowers are all from Ribbon Girl.

The other flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

I used my Martha Stewart lacy heart puncher too. 

I used lots of cheese cloth under the flowers,

and frosted everything with acryllic paint, and some stickles

on the mushrooms from Prima.

A gift from the heart

This is so far the last of the left over cards I made earlier.

This one is mostly made from Pion design paper,

I think. The sentiment is from Magnolia,

and I used a paper doily and a lace doily cut from

an old and stained table cloth that I found in a secon hand shop.

Another shabby left over card.

I used papers from Maja Design,

and the green one is foreign to me.

The flowers are from Prima and Wild Orchid Crafts.

I used a doily, a crown pin, 

 and a piece of pearl swirl from Ribbon Girl.

Seeing Red *Marvelous Magnolia DT*

I applied to the DT call at Marvelous Magnolia a few weeks ago,

and I am happy to announce that I am a part of their new design team!

I am so happy, and this is my first time being part of a Magnolia-blog.

Hopefully it will make me want to color more regularly. :)

My first challenge is Seeing Red,

this is the midway reminder so you have a week to join in,

please pop over! :) 

Red is a color I have a lot of difficulties with, its just so strong.

And coloring with red reinkers can become orange or pink,

so that alone is extremely challenging for me.

So I inked up the image first, and I had this idea in my head,

but then I could not find a paper to match without it getting

a bit maritim, before I suddenly fell in love with this floral paper

that I believe is from 7 gypsies. I used some other left over papers,

a die cut doily. Also I was very low on bazzil, so I made the card on

cardboard so save my "white" bazzil. 

I inked Tilda up with my Distress Reinkers,

and I added Chalkboard Glimmer Mist,

and Star Dust Stickles. 

I used lace, red pompom ribbon, pearl swirls,

letters from American Crafts, and also some old book pages. 

Love this doily shape, I really need some more kinds of doilies.

I also used a few red flowers that I dipped in water to change the shape

of them, and discovered that when wet, they turn everything red.

The trash in my scrap room looks like it was used to clean up

a murder. I also used some branches with red berries,

and a brad.

Mother

Today I want to show you another one of my
shabby left-over paper cards.

This one just came easily,
and I got to use some beautiful stuff that sadly
 have been gathering dust for ages.

Since the papers where just little pieces I have no idea
where it came from. Not the kinds of paper I would normally
combine, but I liked how they look together. :)

I got this old chipboard frame from one a fellow scrapper,
and same goes for the leafes.
The roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts,
and are too powdery in the shade so I dont use them that much,
because they dont match the pink Maja Papers I am so in love with.
But this time, I think these finally where the right ones. 

I used cardboard, a doily, 

and a chipboard swirl. I used a lot of accrylic paint
and Star Dust Stickles. The letters are from American Crafts,
and I also used some pearls.
Finished the card of with some
Glimmer Mist Chalkboard Chalk.

Shabby Love

I have seen several gorgeous cards with no "image" ladely,
and I got so inspired to make some myself.
I had great fun, and I hope you like it,
as I have more of these ready to show you,
and I also know that these cards actually sell (so I can buy
myself some new scrap stuff!). Also it is a great way
to use papers I just never could use for my Magnolia cards,
and leftover papers, and just other kinds of flowers and colors.

The papers on this card is from My Minds Eye.
I used a pearl flower that I cut into several pieces. 

I used cardboard, an old doily cut out from a table cloth,
and my Martha Stewart doily puncher.
The largest flower is from Prima, the other two are from
Wild Orchid Crafts.

I think both this key and the cloth are from Ribbon Girl.
I added some Star Dust Stickles on the key.
